Hi there! I'm Phil, the owner and guide of Horizon. With a deep-rooted passion for the outdoors and adventuring for over 15 years, I have explored Victoria's breathtaking coastline, enchanting forests, and awe-inspiring alpine areas.
As a certified Wilderness First Aid responder, I prioritize the safety and well-being of my fellow adventurers. I am trained to handle any potential emergencies that may arise during our hiking journeys, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for all.
In 2022, I embarked on a remarkable adventure: a hiked version of the Everesting challenge. Over the course of 38 hours, covering a distance of 52km, I faced the ultimate test of endurance and determination. With an average gradient of 50.6%, every step was monumental. It was a grueling journey filled with challenges and triumphs, pushing my limits both physically and mentally.
